Alumina
Desire- dry food, indigestible things such as dry rice, starch, chalk, charcoal, earth, coal, cloves, coffee grounds, tea. Aversion- meat, potatoes. Potato disagrees causes eructations, heaviness indigestion Colic pain in abdomen painter’s colic. Chronic eructations for years, worse in evening. CONSTIPATION FOR MANY DAYS, with SOFT STOOL. No urging, have to aid with fingers. Rectum seems paralyzed. Perspiration from straining at stool. Thin stool ("thin as a pencil"). There is extreme inactivity of rectum, even soft stool requires great staining. There is no desire for days together, obstinate constipation due to paretic Condition of rectum and dryness of mucous membrane. Requires great straining. Diarrhoea when patient urinates.

Antimonium Crudum
Thick, white coating of tongue like a fur with gastric derangements. Indigestion from dietary indiscretion, tendency to overeat. Loss of appetite. Desire for acids, pickles, wine, vinegar, cucumber. Eructation tasting of the ingesta. Gastric and intestinal complaints from bread, pastry, acids, vinegar, sour wine, cold bathing, overheating, hot weather. Constant belching. Bloating after eating. Sweetish waterbrash. Stomach seems to be always overloaded. Digestion disordered easily.

Arsenicum Album
This remedy may be indicated if a person feels anxious, restless yet exhausted, and is worse from the smell and sight of food. Burning pain is felt in the stomach and esophagus, which often is relieved by warmth and sitting up. Vomiting and diarrhea are possible. Upsets from spoiled food or from eating too much fruit often respond to this remedy.

Bryonia
When this remedy is indicated, the stomach feels heavy, with rising acid and a bitter or sour taste. Pain and nausea are worse from motion of any kind. The person may have a dry mouth and be thirsty for long drinks, which may increase discomfort. Bryonia is strongly suggested if a person is grumpy and wants to stay completely still and not be touched or talked to.

Carbo Vegetabilis
Sour belching bringing only small relief, burning pain in the stomach and abdomen, and flatulence after eating may be seen when this remedy is needed. The person feels cold and faint, with a strong desire for fresh or moving air. Digestion may be slow and incomplete, with nausea or cramping.

Carica Papaya
It is a useful, small, soft wooden tree. Its green fruit is an edible vegetable whereas the ripe one is sweet and delicious. It is used commonly in liver complications and disorders of digestion. The remedy stands unproved as yet. It is very efficacious in helping digestion of very weak patients. It is best adopted in fevers with enlargement of spleen and liver, dyspepsia and indigestion. It acts best in jaundice.

Cinchona Officinalis
Fullness and FLATULENCE-whole abdomen is enormously distended not > from eructations or only temporary>. Everything eaten turns into gas. GALL STONE colic periodic bending double.

Desire for SWEETS, sour, pungent, refreshing things, stimulants, highly seasoned food, salt. Aversion: fat, fruit. Painless nocturnal DIARRHOEA, frequent; from fish, fruits, milk, beer. Blackish stools with undigested food; ineffectual urging.

Colocynthis
Cutting, cramping pain in the stomach and abdomen, with relief from hard pressure or from doubling over, indicates a need for this remedy. A bitter taste in the mouth, a feeling that the intestines are about to burst, or a sensation that stones are grinding together in the abdomen may be present. Indigestion may be worse when the person feels upset, especially after suppressing anger.

Hydrastis
Hydrastis, though most effective in gastric disorders, is valuable in certain affections of the accessory digestive organs. It is of unquestioned worth in catarrhal states of the intestines and gall duct, in duodenal catarrh aggravated by neighboring biliary concretions, and in chronic constipation due to debility and imperfect action of the intestinal glands.

Its use must be persisted in for a long period. It is a serviceable tonic for enfeeblement of the gastro-enteric tract of infants and children, as well as adults, and offers support in convalescence from severe and depleting intestinal discharges, debilitating stomach and bowel disorders.

Lycopodium
This remedy is indicated for many digestive troubles. The person’s appetite may be ravenous, but eating even a small amount can cause a feeling of fullness and bloating. Rumbling gas may form in the abdomen, pressing upward and making breathing difficult. The person often has a strong desire for sweets, is sleepy after meals, and feels worst in the late afternoon and evening.

Magnesia Carb
Heart burn, SOUR ERUCTATIONS, VOMITING of pregnancy. Cutting, gripping, pressing COLIC followed by green stools.

Magnesia Phos
Flatulent colic, forcing patient to bend double, relieved by rubbing, warmth, pressure; accompanied by belching of gas, which gives no relief. Bloated, full sensation in abdomen, must loosen clothing, walk about, and constantly pass flatus.

Natrum Phosphoricum
A sour taste in the mouth, an acid or burning sensation in the stomach, sour vomiting, regurgitated bits of food, and a yellow coating on the tongue are all indications for this remedy. The person may have problems after consuming dairy products or too much sugar. Another indication for Natrum phos is a craving for fried eggs.

Nux Vomica
This remedy is often useful for indigestion, and is especially suited to those who overindulge in stimulants, food, and alcohol. Chilliness, irritability, and sensitivity to odors, sound, and light are often seen. Pain and weight can be felt in the stomach, with cramps or constricting pains. The person often feels an urge to vomit or move the bowels (which may make the person feel better, but is rarely successful).

Pepsin
A remedy made of an enzyme called a gastric protease produced in the mucosal lining of the stomach that acts to break down protein.  It is activated by stomach acid and begins the process of degrading protein.

Robinia
Soreness, Sour eructations, sour. Taste, sour vomiting, sour. Smell of the body, sour sweat. Gastric headache with acid vomiting. White coating on tongue with red tip. Hyperchlorhydria. Constant eructations of sour fluid with set the teeth on edge. Acidity of stomach < night. Sour vomiting of ropy mucus tinged with blood. Vomiting of sour milk. Desire for stool but passes only flatus. Sour stool with sour smell from body of infant.-Diarrhoea of yellow green stool with cold sweat and dyspnoea.

Zingiber
Taste of food remains for long, especially of bread and toast. Stomach complaints from eating melons, drinking impure water. Stomach feels heavy like a stone. Diarrhoea from impure water with much flatulence, cutting pains and relaxation of sphincter.
